Automation is one of those words that can make a simple conversation sound complicated. Sometimes the best automation project starts with something very ordinary: “Why are we still doing this manually?”
There is a comfortable phrase in technology projects: “We did something similar before.” Sometimes that experience is exactly what you need. It saves time, reduces avoidable mistakes and gives the team a useful starting point.
On a good project team, people will disagree. The solution architect may see one risk, the client may see another, the implementation team may be worried about timing, while the person responsible for operations is already thinking about what happens six months after handover. None of those perspectives is automatically “the right one.” They are different views of the same problem.
